Design, illustrator, animator, these are just some of the hats I wear around here. I've painted since childhood and my lifelong passion for visual arts has never been stronger. I bring my creative vision to everything I do, whether it be a logo, website, marketing, custom illustration or painting. I live and work in Santa Cruz, California, where I'm constantly inspired by the gorgeous beaches, deep forests, and vibrant community.

Exclusive Interview with Amanda

What do you do when you’re bored?

Bored is just another word for stuck: I change gears. Go for a walk with a camera, cuddle with the kitties, go out for veggie tacos with friends, surf the internet or magazines for inspiration, or just pick up one of my many projects and get re-inspired.

What inspires your creativity?

Looking at other artist’s work (Instagram!) Also, nature … a good beach walk or forest hike, observing the natural universe. Having a camera in my hand and trying to capture whatever comes up in the moment.

I know I’m a part of a community when …

I feel comfortable enough to speak my mind and can contribute to the whole.

If you were a letter, which letter would you be and why?

Q - Quietly quirky, curly, and quintessentially unique.

What makes you come alive?

Chasing sunsets and wandering in the forest.
